Cactus Flower

In the middle
of a big black lava rock
in a crack
grows a cactus, not large

on this cactus
grows a flower as big as my hand
five petals somewhat droopy
and a new bud near it

sanity takes different forms
depending how you look at it
but it never seems 3-D
yet the mountains bring sanity

and they certainly are 3-D
unhappiness doesn't have to mean
anything is wrong
life is 3-D also!
