Long sunset

An amazingly long sunset
to end
an amazingly long day

I don't live near the poles
jet travel makes so little sense
and is so necessary

It's a large planet
which I'm very glad for
until I try to cross it

And then I wish
I had nothing else to do
but travel slowly

And nothing else I wanted to do
