Hello, Rocky

I use Ozidata ( www.oziexplorer.com )and get my topo maps online from
GisData Depot ( http://www.gisdatadepot.com/catalog/US/sublist.html ) or
from scanning maps. It's a little time-consuming, but slick and CHEAP!
Downloads from GisData Depot are free. I also download satellite shots from
terraserver (with geographical references) and can superimpose my tracks and
waypoints on them. Hope this helps.

Both the USGS and DeLorme sell a cheap ($100 approx.) package of USGS raster
quads. These have topo and even some trails already on them. You can add
text or linework to the images and export them to other graphics programs.
